1. This agreement
This End User Licence Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Hyperledger IT Pvt Ltd for any Prapl software you download, install or run locally (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software you accept this EULA and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
2. Licence grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software for your own personal or internal business purposes, in accordance with the plan you have purchased (including any limits on the number of installations, devices or users).
3. Restrictions
Except to the extent applicable law permits, you must not:
- Copy, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, lend or sell the Software;
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software;
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, or attempt to derive its source code;
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, or circumvent licensing, activation or usage limits;
- Use the Software beyond the scope of your licence or in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all right, title and interest in and to the Software and all related intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. Updates
We may provide updates, patches or new versions of the Software. Unless offered under separate terms, updates are governed by this EULA. Some updates may be required for continued operation, security or compatibility.
6. Trial and activation
Where the Software is offered with a free trial (for example a 15-day or 24-hour trial, depending on the product), the trial licence is limited to the trial period, after which the Software may stop functioning or revert to a limited mode unless a valid licence is activated. The Software may connect to our servers to validate licences and activation.
7. Third-party and open-source components
The Software may include third-party or open-source components licensed under their own terms. Those terms govern your use of the relevant components and, where required, are provided with the Software.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. See our Disclaimer. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of your data before using data-affecting features.
9. Limitation of liability
The limitation of liability in our Terms of Service applies to your use of the Software and is incorporated here by reference.
10. Term and termination
This EULA applies for as long as you use the Software. It terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and uninstall/delete all copies of the Software. Sections that by their nature survive termination will continue to apply.
11. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the location of Hyperledger IT Pvt Ltd's registered office have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.
